This is one of the projects I have been working on for awhile. I've spent way too much time looking at it and rearranging it so I am asking for your input. Any Suggestions? Of course I haven't sewn in any of the background fabric and won't until I am satisfied with the layout.

Oh, Thanks! I can see it much better now. It is really cool and I can see how you could spend a lot of time "playing" with it. So many possibilities!
ReplyDeleteI might try turning the bottom right block so that the grey commas square doesn't touch the grey commas in the rail fence portion of the block above it.
I might also twist the hour glass that touches the top right block so that one it is on it's side with the white print triangle portion touching the dark place in the block above. Or twist the top right block so that the yellow is horizontal to the top.
What do the arrow blocks in the center look like when one points up and one points down?
I love this comma line of fabric. I have a jelly roll of it so at the retreat I might pick your brain as to how to use it. I could do a "Child's Play" but I have made two of those now. :) It is such a great pattern!!
What did you choose for the background fabric?
